Effective Healthcare Therapy

Utilizing principles from John Barnes’ Myofascial Release (MFR), this treatment approach includes sustained holds of stretches or pressure on the body’s restricted areas to allow the restrictions to release. Often, these releases go beyond the physical sensation and can include the emotional and spiritual, as well. Through fascial release, we have the potential to cause a more lasting change and healing in the body’s tissues than traditional massage, as we’re working with the collagenous barrier of the tissues rather than the elastic.

Fascial release can help with a number of symptoms and conditions, including:

To prepare for your session:

  • Wear a two piece bathing suit, a sports bra and shorts, or shorts

  • Do not have any lotion or oil on your skin
